Summary
Kei's relationship with Kuroo never had much definition through the years, but ever since he signed on with the Frogs there was a shift. Kuroo grew distant to the point where Kei felt like he was actively avoiding seeing him in person. Not one to admit when he was hurt, Kei couldn't help but sink into the familiar feeling of being let down again. If Kuroo didn't want to be there, Kei wasn't going to force him. Life would be the same with or without Kuroo. At least that's what Kei told himself.

Bruce stayed silent, weighing how to answer, whether to be direct or invent an excuse. After several long, heavy minutes, he decided he didn’t feel like lying.
“I followed you. I saw you meet Potter,” he said, smiling at Snape’s sudden pallor and obvious discomfort. “I’m curious. If I remember correctly, he burned your books this morning.”or
After an unfortunate encounter, Mulciber’s mind becomes captivated by Severus, who is only trying to forget that year and move on with his life.

But out of duty as a professor, she protected every single one of her students to the best of her ability, even Harry Potter, who possessed Lily's eyes and James's arrogant appearance that made Sevina want to punch a wall. Still, even with so much hatred for Harry's parents, she couldn't bring herself to hate Harry completely. When she died in the Shrieking Shack, the place that brought back so many unpleasant memories and pain, and gave Harry her memories to see the full plan she and Dumbledore had prepared for him to defeat Voldemort, every hidden secret, every move, and plan they made was entrusted to Harry.
Sevina thought she had finally died and rest, but no... She woke up in her 16-year-old body and Hogwarts robes. She was still bleeding and poisoned from Nagini's snake bite, and perhaps worse, James Potter found her. Sevina collapsed and saw James running to her.

It took three days for his mother to find Severus, laying in the bathtub, wrist marred and un-bandaged, emotionless eyes staring up at the ceiling.
“What happened to you sweetheart?” she had whispered, holding his hand as she knelt by the tub. “My love, where have you gone?"
Two days later, he was meeting his step-father and brother and getting ready to move out into their manor in the “rich kid” neighborhood by the countryside.
“The people are nicer there,” his mother reassured him. “It’ll be good for you. A clean slate.”
"You won’t be invisible." His mother had meant. "You’ll have the chance to be normal."
Severus feels anything but normal.

Broken and invisible, Severus moves from the heart of the city to the countryside when his mother remarries in hopes of restarting. It's his second chance at being a normal teenager, but after the first day, Severus is once again lonely and friendless. He tried to go back to his plan. Brewing something mercifully fatal and apparating somewhere quiet and isolated. But he couldn’t bring himself to feel the same conviction he felt earlier. Unfortunately, he wanted to live. He craved so badly to come out on the other side alright and finally see all of his work pay off. For just a bit of reprieve. And now he had a path open to him.
