Summary
Personal retelling/reimagining of the non-Ascended Astarion x Tav experience, as close to canon as I can stay while also having my fun. Story will eventually include epilogue. Epilogue will introduce T4T themes. Tav is intersex and uses Spivak (ey/em/eirs) pronouns for ease of reading with groups of characters.
Non-con refers to Astarion & Tav backstory trauma, not depicted in the story.
Trans storyline (outside of Tav) starts in the epilogue, may have hints throughgout.
Bite is in Ch. 2, smut begins Ch. 5.

Determined to experience this sex thing before sprouting tentacles and joining a hivemind, Tav prepares to proposition other members of their camp—much to Astarion's disgruntlement. He makes compelling arguments for why each of them would be a terrible choice, all while insisting that he isn't the one for her.

Summary
Little moments from different Acts that are canon to me because it's a crime you can only hug Astarion once. Being able to help someone with sexual trauma like Astarion is literally everything to me and I can't thank Larian enough for making a character like him. It's healed me too and these chapters are going to dive deeper into that healing process in-game.
Not technically canon-compliant since you can't romance Halsin before act 3 but I really wanted to explore this dynamic some more.
Includes some epilogue chapters from pre-patch 5, going for the no-ascension path.
