Summary
Being a singer at the local seedy bar isn't for everyone. Even you, who had been performing for quite the while.
The lights are too hot and bright, the makeup is too much, and you could do without the types of dresses you're told to wear.
But, it does just enough to pay the bills; and you, a lady living on her own don't have many options to work with.
Until, one night you notice that your nightly pay has suddenly become abundantly better than what it typically would have been.
It doesn't take long for you to realize that a third party has been adding extra funds to your wages and remaining silent about it all.
But, eventually you'll understand why...
