    Summary

An old blue Ford pulls into the guarded parking lot that morning, looking like a small, tired dog after a hard run. Except that doesn’t make sense, does it? There should be no car, no worried mother, no...

There should be nothing. There was nothing, wasn’t there?

    Why is there something now?

    ***

Ray Garraty dies. It's only the beginning.

    Summary

Pale, thin scars mark Gary’s arm from his wrist to halfway up his bicep. Some are in straight, almost neat lines, one right after the other, while some of them crisscross each other with a jagged ferocity. Overall, there’s more raised masses of tissue than unmarked skin. There’s no need to ask what caused them, and there’s no way Collie ever would. It’s obvious.

“Well?” Gary snaps, apparently thinking Collie’s been silent for too long. “Can you fix this or not?”

Or: Gary Barkovitch walks into Collie Parker's tattoo shop looking for a scar coverup, and ends up becoming much more than just a client.

    Summary

Collie Parker dies. He dies righteously. He dies with a kill count and a song on his lips. And then he wakes.

    OR

Collie Parker dies in the Long Walk. Then, he wakes in a bed and Gary Barkovitch is singing him a song. Now in a world so different from his own, Collie Parker struggles to adapt while being plagued with nightmares of the world he grew up in. These aren’t his fellow Walkers, and he isn’t their Collie. Still, he doesn't know what he's going to do if he wakes up one morning back in his world.

    Summary

    He remembered the gunshot.

He remembered dying. He had died, he was sure of it. How was this possible? Was this his life rewinding itself, some montage before his death?
But it didn’t feel like a memory. It looked so real. He was there.

Then, the guards barked their orders. The Major gave his speech. And the Walk began, exactly like it did before.

    What the fuck?

Stuck in a time loop, Collie Parker didn’t expect to find himself watching Gary Barkovitch. He definitely didn’t expect Gary to look back.
