    The Crows long to extend their affections to Kaz too, to be able to reach out as freely to him as they do one another, let touch say what words can't always. They would try to ignore the pang of hurt as Kaz coiled away from outstretched palms, because he wasn't ready for that yet, and they'd never rush him.
    That doesn't mean they wouldn't do everything they could to support him in the meantime, however. That they woudn't be there for Kaz in whatever capacity he'd permit.
