Summary
Saving Connor begins an AU of Harry Potter's school years, the Sacrifices Arc, where Harry's twin Connor (bearing a heart-shaped scar) is acknowledged as the Boy-Who-Lived. Harry and Connor have a loving relationship, and Harry plays the role of personal bodyguard/silent support for his brother to the hilt. It's in fifth year currently, but will, I hope, extend all the way up to seventh year. I'm really excited about and interested in it, so right now I feel that there's a good possibility of that. I'm writing it because I can, and so far as I'm concerned there's no better reason for writing.
A couple things about this AU:
-Harry is a Slytherin in this story, but he's also devoted to his twin brother ... I can promise there won't be physical or sexual abuse. There will be a lot of arguments, darkness, death, and mayhem, though.
-One conceit of this story is that a lot of things are different, the prophecy and the night that Harry and Connor received their scars included. The prophecy question should get a few answers in Chapter 11 of Saving Connor. I'm afraid the full story of October 31, 1981 won't be told until the AU version of Prisoner of Azkaban.

Summary
Nightwing almost misses his landing, arms pinwheeling as the import of those overheard words sinks in. He barely manages to avoid falling right off the rooftop. It doesn’t even register, his mind far too busy trying to make sense of what he just heard to even consider his own situation.
Jason and Tim are having sex, he thinks, dazed and shying away from examining how he feels about two men he considers his family becoming involved with each other in that way.
Then the rest of what they said percolates through his stunned brain, and he almost falls again.
And they’re doing it wrong.

Timothy Drake is a civilian, a normal boy. Kind of. He's normal in that he keeps secrets and has some hobbies. Those secrets and hobbies, though, are a little unique...and completely, 100% revolve around the crime-fighting family of Gotham.
A good friend of the Waynes, Tim finds himself dodging his heroes' attempts to reveal their identities to him in a misguided attempt to keep the status quo. No one seems to want to let it rest, unfortunately for Timothy Drake.

I like the concept of each of the kids having a number or having a thing where they count off. Not in a demeaning or dehumanizing way at all, just more so to use in dangerous situations. For example, a bomb goes off on patrol, and to quickly see if everyone is okay, the kids (including Steph and Babs) automatically start counting one at a time. Bruce can breathe again once the count reaches eight. This tradition begins to carry over to civilian life when the kids yell numbers across a crowded gala after the power goes out.

"You’ve already tried that," Merlin’s voice answered and Arthur had to bite his fist to keep from making any noise. “You need to accept you can’t kill me… Hand me that blanket, please.”
“I’m sure there must be some method… Beheading?”
“No, we tried that.”
“Hanging?”
“I just sort of... Swung there, remember?”
There was another pause.
“I should have made you keep that dragon below the castle so I could feed you to it.”
“Kilgharrah? He won’t eat me, but if you want to torture me than making me listen to his nonsense for an hour might do it.” Merlin said and there was a soft sigh from the other end of the room. “I’m glad you agreed to help me though. Usually I have to do the grunt work of saving Arthur myself.”
“I can’t wait to kill you.”

Uther finds out about Merlin’s magic, but can’t seem to kill him. Merlin is just trying to protect Arthur. They become a begrudgingly effective duo. Arthur doesn't understand why they think he isn't noticing this.
