Alastor sat down on the chair, crossing one leg over the other, his finger rhythmically tapping on the armrest. A few seconds later, the phone vibrated. He grinned, show time.
[L: don’t spam my inbox.]
Spam? Alastor mused. What an odd response. The king must have been hungry. But to associate him with something as lowly as canned meat? The monarch clearly had poor taste.
[A: huh? What does spam have to do with this? Yuckieee, anyway c’mon tell which is better 😝]
He watched the typing indicator flicker on and off as Lucifer hesitated. Perhaps the king really did have a peculiar fondness for spam.
[L: that's not what…]
There was a pause. Then another message appeared.
[L: are you fucking serious]
or Alastor's little revenge on Lucifer backfires in the most unexpected (worst) way.

When he crossed the bridge, it was only a few more steps to his home, a small cottage with a sloped roof, its moss-covered shingles blending seamlessly with the forest around it. Modest, isolated, and private. Just the way he liked it.
As he dismounted, the cottage door swung open, revealing a small child with golden eyes, red-slit pupils, and blond hair tipped in crimson. The moment it spotted him, a delighted squeal filled the air.
"Mwammy!"
The child wobbled toward him, excitement buzzing in its tiny frame. Alastor knelt, catching the little one in his arms. It gazed up at him with unfiltered adoration, its apple-red cheek markings a clear testament to its lineage. There was no mistaking who had sired this child.
For four years, Alastor has lived a quiet simple life in a remote fishing town in an island on the outskirts of Sloth Ring, raising his child in secrecy.
Until one day, everything changes, when the king arrives.

Summary
Since then Alastor had been even more attentive. He constantly jumped to do anything Lucifer asked, get him anything he wanted, and just smother him and their baby in love.
He was even quite protective of him, growling menacingly at anyone that got to close, aside from their little family at the hotel. Even then the sinner always seemed wary, but he also seemed to understand that they meant Lucifer and the baby no harm.
It might have been annoying if it weren’t so endearing, and also insanely hot.
