Summary
For two years as a teen, you had lived in Playtime Care, the precursor to Playcare. While there, you'd befriended a jack-in-the-box toy named Oliver. But eventually, you grew up and left Playtime Care, and had been forced to wonder if Oliver had ever even existed outside of your imagination.
Two decades later, rumors of living toys near the recently collapsed Playtime Co Factory bring you the faintest glimmer of hope--Maybe your old friend had been real, and maybe he's still there somewhere. And maybe he needs your help.
What you find in the caves below the factory is far worse than you'd imagined it could be, but you find yourself with an usual ally--the Prototype. You have no idea of his recent fall from grace. He's been stripped of his immortality, his godhood, and his kingdom, and is alone in the caves below the factory, along with the scant handful of toys that didn't escape with Poppy and her Angel.
The Prototype finds himself intrigued at your return, so agrees to help you search for your friend...despite knowing full well that Oliver is long, long gone.

Summary
In this AU, just after our escape from Lily Lovebraids, you re-group with Giblet, Poppy, and Kissy. Staring at Poppy's cracked face, something in you snaps. No one will find happiness down here of any kind should things continue as they are. And if what Giblet says is true about the poppy gel, crashing a train into The Prototype won't do anything but waste time and effort. So, you pitch a new plan—one that, while risky, you do believe could work.
(a.k.a: I made this AU just to selfishly smoosh The Prototype and the MC together.)

You wake up tied to an operating table after trying to leave him. You unfortunately discover that instead of the soft, warm skin you’re used to, you’re now nothing but a cold plastic shell. A doll.
You plan your escape, but you’re silly for thinking Ollie would ever let you leave.

Summary
You came back to Playtime Co. for the children. You didn’t expect the Prototype. You didn’t expect to be caught between him and Poppy, running two agendas and losing track of which one was yours. And you didn’t expect to remember him — or for him to be worth remembering. Something far worse is still waiting in the dark.
