Summary
The pain of fighting it this time was excruciating, the knives starting from the center of his chest instead of just his throat and the flames burning up his spine and the back of his head along with his chest. There were tears in his eyes by the time the words were forcefully dragged from him, "Fuck- fuckin- yes! Okay? I will answer with the truth even when I fight it so hard it literally fucking burns."

Summary
'Fine,' Izzy signed irritably. He rolled his eyes as he stalked towards the captains' quarters, Frenchie on his heels. Lucius stayed behind at the request of Bonnet, which should have raised a red flag, but Izzy brushed it off.
He immediately regretted his decision as he opened the door to see Ed waiting, nervously bouncing a leg. Izzy wanted to turn right around and leave, but a hand on the small of his back made him go unnaturally still, tensing down to his bones.
Ed surged up, "Stede, don't do that," Hid tone was low, but serious, "He doesn't like that." Izzy didn't even have it in him to be angry at the coddling, relaxing significantly as Bonnet removed his hand.

Summary
It had still taken Izzy a week to ask Snake for what he wanted. He had spent hours perfecting his speech, and working out how to go about it. In the end, Izzy had just impulsively acted with very little charm, and even then, he still hadn't asked.
Stupid fucking Stede Bonnet had established a mandated 'free time' for everyone aboard the Revenge. Somehow, Snake's had aligned with Izzy's (he thinks that might be Ed's doing). Izzy had never been up on deck at the same time as their break before, so he had no idea that they spent the time like this. Snake was hanging upside down from the rigging, having just swung smooth as a wisp of smoke across the deck. Their movements had been fluid and graceful. The thought hit Izzy like a canon ball to the head: they're fucking beautiful.

Summary
It got lonely sometimes, but she had her familiar to sail with. She was a lovely black cat with one deep emerald right eye and the other a shade of yellowish orange. At least, that was the form she chose to be in most of the time. She could shape-shift into almost any animal, her favorite, besides a cat, being a seagull. Her name was Olivia.
That's how Scar had wound up here, sailing in the direction of a little island that a small group of pirates had been marooned on. Livy had let Scar know that her contact aboard the Revenge had been left to die by the one person Scar had assigned Liv to keep an eye on: Izzy Hands.

Summary
Ed looked like he was going to clap him on the shoulder, but thought better of it, for which Izzy was grateful. Izzy moved to pick up the log book that he had dropped in favor of his dagger earlier when Ed spoke next.
His voice was soft and unsure, so unlike the Blackbeard Izzy was used to, but then again, that was nothing new around this ship, "Wanted to apologize, Iz. For everything really, but mostly for ignoring you. You're my best friend and I need you here."
There it was, that lie that Izzy had come to hate that he loved. It sat hollow in his chest this time, instead of the brief warmth it used to give. Izzy didn't turn or answer just went to the next crate and began to write down the contents.
