Summary
In 1977, Charles Xavier’s final telepathic broadcast, "The Last Hymn," saved humanity from Sentinel extinction. Decades later, a weary Erik Lehnsherr travels back to 1956 to kill Raven and erase this mechanical nightmare at its source.
Erik arrives with lethal intent, yet his resolve shatters at Oxford. There stands a young Charles—vibrant, whole, and unscarred by the tragedies to come. As Charles approaches with a mischievous smile and a playful, "You've been staring at me for twenty minutes, darling," Erik is overwhelmed. Facing the living ghost of the man he failed to save, he suffocates under the weight of a staggering second chance.

Based on the prompt:
“Hi, for some reason I've been wanting to read something where Logan is a father figure to Charles (maybe he worked in the Xavier mansion and was the only one to ever pay attention to him? Or maybe Charles run away and somehow ended up living with Logan?), and he doesn't approve of Charles' new boyfriend Erik... Thank you!!” -via akasanata (Tumblr)
I tweaked it a bit but you’ll still like it :)

Summary
Erik Lehnsherr has his life exactly as he wants it: his work, his mother, and above all his children. He has no room and no need for anything else.
Then a man crouches in front of his runaway twins in the Science Museum and starts talking about genetics, and Erik finds himself revising that opinion considerably.
He takes it slowly. He does everything right. And then he asks Charles to move in, and his seven-year-olds have a great deal to say about that.
Months later, single and thoroughly miserable, Erik spots a familiar figure across a busy London street. What happens next is, technically, Pietro's fault.

Summary
Erik was right. If Charles were happy in his marriage, he wouldn't be in the back seat of a car, entangled with another man, while Sebastian waited for him at home.
