Eli Leyton has a bet to win.
At the end of the month is the annual Pet Show, where cat and dog boys will show off their performative, cosmetic, and sexual skills. Eli, a pet trainer, is usually more content just sitting on the sides and observing. But this year, he's made a bet with his friend- if he can take the most unruly, most bratty, most disobedient pet in the entire city and turn them into a perfect pet for the contest, Eli could win a pretty substantial amount of money. But if Eli can also beat his friend's pet in the contest, he'll almost double his current fortune.
Luckily, there's a particular cat boy that fits the bill.

There's a new stranger in Camelot and while everything *seems* fine, Merlin can't shake the feeling that there is something deeply *wrong* with this boy. Even better, Gaius has taken in said stranger as his apprentice. Merlin has to get to the bottom of this and expose their secret.
