Summary
Everybody knows the story of how Jedediah and Octavius were enemies who turned to friends... but what if things played out differently? What if a statue of a Roman deity was positioned a little too far to the right, or a night on the barren frontier was just a bit too chilly than what it was supposed to be? What if, by consequence, history was changed? A museum based on history would certainly be affected, undoubtedly.
But how badly do you think the WORLD would be affected if two little miniature men had never been born as men?
Despite what you might think, not much would change, as it would seem. Rome is still born and then dies, and western America is still charted and mapped and explored, and the world moves on. But consider just for a second how certain things would change, at least for Octavius and Jedediah themselves. You can't really have a female Roman general, and for Jedediah... well, who knows what would happen there. Perhaps with a different starting point, our two miniatures will manage to find common ground a lot quicker than their male counterparts did.
...Or they'll still wind up tearing each other's hair out. Again, who knows.
