Nicodemus was suddenly very interested in what these two were talking about. He'd thought Dresden would be closer to the White God than that. Maybe he could actually talk with Dresden. He'd made a mistake in underestimating Dresden the last time they met.
He wouldn't do it again.
After leaving Michael behind after another attempt to get him to go to Mass again, he didn't think he'd run into Nicodemus. They hadn't seen each other since he picked up Lasciel's coin. The coin currently sitting in Harry's basement. Apparently he heard Harry's declaration. Great. Now he had to deal with Nicodemus. In hindsight Harry shouldn't have made the joke.

Waking up in his office two weeks after killing Victor Sells however proved him wrong. He was so tired. He wondered what would change with this new universe.
Nicodemus never thought he'd receive his own soulmark. It had been over two thousand years since he was born and not once was he ever blessed with a mark. Until one day when he was passing through Chicago and a mark appeared on his forearm. It was a large wolf with black fur with deep dark eyes. It seemed he wouldn't be passing through Chicago as he planned.

Tommy tries to cry out in protest as Techno rips his golden mask off, gasping for air as his whole body shudders, blood pooling in his mouth. He spits it out, feeling his body temperature spike, a small inferno building within his veins.
“That you don’t belong to the heroes, or to Dream, or even to your friends— you belong to us,” Techno says, kneeling down to be on his level, reaching out a bloodied hand to tilt Tommy’s chin upwards, wiping away the blood spilling from lips.
Or Tommy switches bodies with another version of himself.

For months Percy Jackson slumbered before being sent to Lupa. Or so at least That's what Juno tells the Romans in her proclamation to the Legion. Gaea is rapidly waking and has a vested interest in each of the fated Seven Heroes making all the ground outside their camps unsafe and even that safety grows limited. Could Hera have truly afforded to leave him hidden somewhere, vulnerable, on mortal soil. She certainly couldn't hide him in the sea, his father would sense him near instantly the moment he looked. The sky held the same if not more danger should her husband sense their brothers spawn in his domain. So where did Hera hide possible the most searched after demigod for all that time?
The fates only knew where....because they whispered the idea into the Queen's ear.
Aka; Percy Jackson is stolen from his cabin one December night and Perseus wakes up, nothing to his name except his name and vague impressions of the world. The ancient world and her Gods welcome the birth of a newborn Godling of the sea.

When the woman returned with the baby boy in her arms, Poseidon loomed over his shoulder and Dionysus somehow resisted the urge to scoff as he examined the baby boy. His uncle’s overprotective streak wasn’t ending anytime soon.
The boy’s hair was black, certain to be unruly. But the bigger issue was the eyes. The boy inherited his father’s sea green eyes and would instantly give him away. “The eyes have to go.”
Both the woman and Poseidon tense and the wine god doesn’t resist scoffing this time. “As in his eye color! Did you think I meant gouging his eyes out?!”
Or: In order to hide Percy’s parentage, Poseidon convinces Dionysus to claim Percy instead.
