Summary
Alhaitham is perfectly aware that he’s on borrowed time. He’s also aware that while Kaveh is brilliant, he will never be truly happy or appreciated in the current Sumeru.
So when Grand Sage Azar drops a hint into a project about Divine Knowledge just as Alhaitham’s time is running out, he decides to dedicate the rest of his very short life into investigating whether or not that could be the downfall for the leaders of the current Sumeru.
And well, if something goes wrong and he mysteriously disappears, so be it. At least Kaveh won’t be able to somehow blame himself for Alhaitham’s death.

Her suspicion wasn’t confirmed until she herself had envisioned it. Something had fallen into Tayvat. It wasn’t from another world like Aether was.. no. I was from a different universe entirely. The heavenly principles must be slacking. The source was all the way in Liyue by wangshu inn, where the first rock fell. It was just a rock, sure, but it didn’t belong here. Beur kept it to herself, hoping things would fix themselves. However as things kept repeating falling into this universe more frequently, the god began to worry. She could no longer stand idle while this was happening. It could be dangerous.. what if a person fell through? Would she even be able to help them?

Upon arriving, Lumine is surprised by an unexpected plea from Nilou...which eventually leads to Lumine confronting her feelings about a certain solitary Lightkeeper. Feelings she hadn't fully realized until the two of them were apart. When he surprises her by suddenly joining her in Sumeru, the two of them realize just how much they mean to one another.
