Summary
At the end of the Day of Unity, Emperor Belos finds himself back in the human realm, weak and at the mercy of the very kids who sought to defeat him. Can time with the unusual family convince the man to try to change or was he always destined to be a horrible person?
((I have read quite a few good Belos Redemption AUs and was inspired to try draft up my own version. I'm not saying he was a good person or what he did was right, but it didn't sit right with be how they built up his backstory and then just ended it by saying he was always wrong. I don't excuse what Belos did in canon and this story follows most of the canon timeline so he may never truly be forgiven. I just thought it would be cool to explore what might have been, in a show that has given several amazing characters development and touched on so many divided topics.))
