Merlin owed his life - literally - to Lancelot. Lancelot, who had overheard Arthur scream that there was a sorcerer in their midst. Lancelot, who had thrown a number of his most prized possessions into a satchel, ran down to Gaius’s room, told Merlin to pack what he needed, and prepared two horses. Lancelot, who was guiding his horse through the forest next to Merlin, riding in silence under the midnight moon.
AKA Merlin and Lancelot go on the run. Cue very shittily written grief and Lancelot backstory because I'm sick

In the middle of the perfect kiss, Crowley notices that the hot feeling in his chest isn’t going away. Instead, it’s just getting hotter and hotter. It’s almost burning - no, it’s definitely burning now. Why is it burning?
All of a sudden, a sharp, scathing pain rips through Crowley’s chest. He yanks back his head and gasps for air, but finds that he is struggling to breathe. Aziraphale is grinning - no, he’s snarling. Trembling, Crowley looks down. There is a sword sticking out of his chest. It’s crackling and glowing like its made of embers. Tears well in his eyes. It was all a lie.---------------
Aziraphale is possessed by Gabriel, who stabs Crowley. There is pain and blood and love confessions and a first and last kiss and I am kind of proud of this one.
