Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi left the Jedi Order to be with the new Duchess of Mandalore, Satine Kryze, after the Mandalorian Civil War, relinquishing his identity. They were happy, until the Clone Wars began and their differing opinions on Mandalorian neutrality drove them apart.
When Obi-Wan gets the opportunity to return to the Jedi Order to defend the Republic, he takes it- leaving Satine and their two teenage boys, Korkie and Kahl, behind with the cover story that he’s away on business.
But soon, Korkie and Kahl have their own secrets to keep, pushing all of them together and apart.
As the darkness in the galaxy grows, can this family- real and found- bring all their shadowy secrets to light in time to stop the dark specter seeking to remake the universe according to his own grand design?

Summary
When the Duchess of Kalevala, Satine Kryze, survives an assassination attempt in Mandalore, the most dire solution for her safety must be considered and she is entrusted in the hands of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his disgruntled padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both eighteen, both annoyed by one another, and both contending with their insecurities and vulnerabilities, they must learn how to tolerate one another (for Qui-Gon's sake) and eventually, how to stop themselves from falling in love.
A companion piece to "Asphodel," this is my take on the Obi-Wan/Satine year on the run.

In 2013, Dave Filoni revealed that Satine's story originally looked very different from the Lawless arc. Details were sparse but fans learned that the Duchess wore beskar, took the title of Mand'alor, and had to ally with Death Watch to defeat a greater enemy. When George Lucas decided instead to bring Darth Maul back, Satine's original final arc was scrapped.
This is that story.
