Raising your cousin’s child could have been easier. Easier if she was still alive, easier if you had someone to talk to that wasn’t still learning his first words. After Lily died, you were left with a hundred unanswered questions and a baby in your hands. You now only have this baby to lean on and learn from. There are few strange things happening around you.
