A fan of all things sci-fi and comic-related since 1977, I invented my writer name in 1983 after seeing the Star Trek TOS episode "Amok Time" for the first time. I write and read mostly slash although I wrote a lot of hetfic for Star Trek TNG back in the early '90s.
I call my fic "Tropes On Parade" even though a lot of what are now considered tropes weren't tropes back when I was writing - they were just obvious things to write about. Looking back now it certainly does seem like I never met a trope I couldn't make into a story, but I still like to think that I put a slightly different spin on them.
