Summary
“Why?” Eddie voiced his question.
Buck wasn’t prepared for that. He was prepared for anger at leaving the way he did, and appreciation for bringing his son home. He wasn’t prepared for Eddie to question his motive, and he wasn’t prepared to answer.
“Eddie-” Buck started.
“Why did you do all of that?”
Buck quickly scrambled his mind for an answer that wasn’t ‘because I love you’ and ‘the thought of you leaving made me want to die’, his mind only supplying the other facts of the situation.

The best way to keep Eddie (the recently identified love of his life) from leaving him for Texas, is to bring Christopher back to L.A. Facing a few weeks off work following a brief kidnapping, Buck leaves for Texas without telling anyone. The mission? Bring Christopher home. Will Buck be successful? -

Summary
Eddie left, Buck watched him pull away. So he wasn't expecting him to walk into the house just a couple short minutes later for one last goodbye. Unfortunately, this goodbye was everything Buck had been wanting. It was everything he wanted, but it was quickly ripped away, leaving him feeling broken. The consequences leave a destroyed wall, broken hands, and a panic attack he has no idea how to stop. Luckily, Hen knows just how to calm an emotionally distraught Buck.

I'm bad at summaries. Ultimately there's a kiss, some unhealthy coping mechanisms, a panic attack, and the help of an amazing friend. I don't know if this is a "happy" ending, but it ends better than it starts. This is my unlikely prediction for what could happen after Eddie leaves for Texas, reference the unofficial BTS video that's floating around the fandom. Potential spoilers.

So he gives the list to Buck and made him promise to go over it with Tommy. This is that conversation.

Summary
Buck and Eddie's conversation in 03x06 'Monsters' ends differently, with Eddie telling Buck he can't fix anything. Buck takes this hard and after already feeling like he was drowning, tries to take his own life. Luckily, Athena arrives in time to save Buck, and slowly pieces start to fall together again. However, Eddie doesn't seem to want to move on.

Summary
“What are you looking at, Eddie?” As soon as the words leave his mouth he realizes just how flirty he sounds, but he can’t stop himself from continuing on, “Oh sorry none of my business, privacy of your own home and I, I respect that, but–”
Eddie realizes what he’s doing a second too late, leaping forward to try and stop him. Buck reaches down to grab the ipad, flips it over, and then nearly drops it to the floor. It feels like slow motion the way his hands have started to tremble and he struggles for a second to lock it—his own startled reflection staring back at him from the black screen once he finally does.
Eddie’s there seconds later, jerking the tablet out of his grip. He clutches it to his chest. They both stare at one another, for the first time in their friendship at a complete and total loss for words.
It’s silent, just the sound of the fridge humming in the background. Buck’s own heartbeat thunders loudly in his ears. Eddie’s gaze has dropped down to the floor and he’s refusing to meet Buck’s eye anymore.
