Finally, he glances at the rest of his children, out of loop and confused, yet intrigued, nonetheless.

“Seasoning?” Sukuna snarled. “Why muddle its sanguine taste with the banal touch of grass and crops?”
“No one wants to eat raw meat. I don’t want to eat raw meat.”
“How tirelessly conservative of you. In all your meaningless existence, you’ve never one ate uncooked meat?”
“I’ve had sashimi."
Sukuna rolled his eye. “Fish lacks the depth and texture of meat cut from a struggling prey. The adrenaline supplies the body with clean blood and the taste of it is absolutely divine. Freshly cut heart from the corpse of a crying woman is the best.”
Yuuji doubled over in disgust, almost dropping his plate of meatballs on the floor. “Sukuna, what the fuck?”

Yuuji couldn't say he felt bad. Sukuna has killed hundreds using their hands. He deserved to suffer at the thought of his death.
Yuuji carefully sat at the foot of Sukuna’s throne and asked, as everything around them faded, “Where do we go once we die?”
“Nowhere. We fade away. Forgotten by the next hundred. Fortunately, It’ll be quicker for you.”
His hands trembled as his nails left marks on his skin. “Oh…. That - that doesn’t sound so bad.”

It wasn’t immediate. The first month or so, Logan went to jobsites, did his work, and came home without a second thought. Then one day Wade made some offhand comment about how the shitty bathroom floor tiles absorbed blood like a fucking sponge and it was nearly impossible to scrub out and suddenly he was noticing different types of tiles and grout and piecing together the ideal floor materials for two guys with a healing factor and a penchant for coming home blood soaked.
From then on it was like the floodgates had opened and he couldn’t stop himself from taking mental notes at every job he worked. He wasn’t actually planning on buying something. He was just looking.
For the future.
DISTANT future.
Except…
The TVA had given him a truly disgusting amount of money he wasn’t doing anything with and real estate was a decent investment. He didn’t have to do anything with it if he didn’t want to.
It’s not like he was going to find anything he liked anyway.
