Time-wise, this is a prequel to The Shape of Bathwater, but both stories can be enjoyed separately if you so wish!
On the day of Bill and Fleur's wedding, Viktor Krum turns out to be a guest of interest as Bill tasks him with helping him break a mysterious curse whose origin is Egyptian. Too embarrassed to say the details, the eldest of the Weasley brothers resorts to magic to show Viktor his memories. This tale of curses and metamorphosis is one of malleable points of view as Viktor becomes a willing participant and observer in Bill's unfortunate past. Like 'The Shape of Bathwater' this is also a worldbuilding 'slow burn' of a fanfic that fills the gaps in the plot of the original Harry Potter series and attempts to fit my alternate events as neatly into the canon as possible. This story about everyone's favorite moody Bulgarian Seeker is written by a Bulgarian interested in giving Viktor Krum the spotlight he deserves within the Harry Potter universe. If you like mystery, the Classics, and history, then this prequel might be for you!
