Summary

Summary
“Rumi!” She calls, waving her over excitedly, “we didn’t know it was your day off or we would’ve invited-“ She stops when she sees Rumi’s expression break.
In an instant, her eyes are watery, her jaw tight and the corner of her mouth twitching down as she tries to hold back tears. And then she’s running -no, sprinting- right at Zoey until they collide.
It knocks the breath out of her lungs, and she doesn’t have the time to refill her air supply as Rumi squeezes her tightly in a giant hug, a broken sob hiccupping through her body.
Stunned and breathless, Zoey can’t do anything except hug her back, as tightly as she can.
“I missed you,” Rumi whispers into her shoulder, tight and shrill and shaky. She’s got fistfuls of Zoey’s shirt held tight like she’s worried she might disappear.
OR
Edge of Tomorrow esque, Rumi ran into the wrong demon and now she's stuck in a loop of reality jumping and day repeating and she's *really* happy to see a familiar face.
