Oh. They then knew what Volt and Eddie were doing—talking like they weren't there, making Charlie's choices for them. Charlie squirmed a little harder, brows furrowed and a whine already leaving their lips. All it did was cause both sets of hands on them to grip them tighter, keeping them further in place, further at their lovers' whims.
Eddie had a grin of his own, sharp and predatory. His usually dark eyes seemed to spark with delight at Volt's insinuation. "I like how you think." He cocked his head to the side like he was thinking it over. "But for our sweet little spark's sake, maybe you should spell it out for them."
Volt hummed again—the bastard—as his fingers dug deeper into Charlie's stomach. "What better way to make sure the household knows Charlie is owned than putting a baby in this pretty belly?"

Eddie couldn't deny that Volt had a point. It had been a very long time since he had done anything close to submitting; he was always on, always in control of both Volt and Charlie, and always at least a little in control of the club downstairs. He did need a break, if only for a night.
The idea had come up early in the evening, when Volt had noticed how extra tired Eddie's eyes seemed to be even before the Breaker Box got busy. Eddie rolled the thought around his head until he had grabbed Volt by the jacket, whispered a strained "yes", and went back on his way. Volt's grin had grown extra wide at his admission and didn't fade for the rest of the night.
[ Or: It's Eddie's turn to let go and give Volt the reins. ]

Eddie's grin turned wolfish. He gestured towards the door to their upstairs apartment with a jerk of his head. "You and Charlie go upstairs. I'll be up in a bit. Don't," His voice dropped to that lower register he saved only for his lovers, the one that left no room for argument. "do anything except sit on the bed until I get there. No touching each other, no undressing, nothing. Understood?"
Both Volt and Charlie nodded, each giving him a variation of yes, sir before both of them absconded up the stairs.

Their fingers dug through the bag. Volt didn't need foundation, some lucky side effect of being pure electricity, so they started with simple powder just for a base. They cracked a smile when his nose scrunched up from the feeling of the powder brush, which led them both into giggling fits that made Charlie's heart leap into their throat.
This was where they were happiest, they thought aimlessly as they rummaged for the right eyeshadow palette. This was where they were meant to be, serving their partners, even making them giggle like that. God, Volt looked so stunning when he laughed, even with his face barely done. Charlie considered themselves lucky to even be allowed to see this side of him—not the charming host he played downstairs, but the silly boyfriend he truly was.

Their posture is immaculate thanks to the restraint, their shoulders squared back and chest presented out. It isn't entirely the most comfortable, but the way the pose makes their body ache makes their mind still in turn. This—this submission, this giving up of control, it soothes them in ways they'd never thought of before getting with Volt and Eddie.
