Summary
Isagi normally bears no grudges or bias against cliché romance stories until his life depended on it. Long story short, after Ego blackmailed him to put on a VR headset, he became the villain of a popular romance game he'd finished playing during the break to vent his stress. Even if it were a game, he still didn't want to die in the game. With a bad reputation and unpopularity, he was going to lay low and try not to die. Unfortunately, fate (or maybe Ego's interference) did not want him left alone.
With the heroine's love interest popping up from left to right (which for some reason were his friends???), Isagi's heart (and his virgin ass) was in a lot of trouble. -

The cruel merciless tortures he faced for 5 months from Quackity forced him to take his last life. He had enough of the pain and living all together. He literally wished for death, and he got it.
That was the end... well, that was supposed to be the end of the story...

Right when Dream finally felt the embrace of death... his life started over. Time had gone back to the past—before Eret betrayed L'Manburg?!——-
Dream looked at them incredulously.
All the people who turned their back against him were now caring about him.
The minors, his friends, and now guys who were likely simping for him given the way they looked at him so stupidly.

After a sudden prison break in broad daylight, Dream disappeared. Two months had passed and there was still no sign of him. As the SMP members continue to look for the wanted fugitive, they slowly uncover his secrets—realizing too late that their old friend was not to blame.
