On the way to Dressrosa after the battle on Punk Hazard, Sanji made a sandwich for breakfast, but Law doesn't like bread so Sanji made him onigiri, which in turn made a certain moss ball stare at him intensely for a few moments without glancing at the food in front of him and letting Luffy devour everything. Not wanting to leave his crew with a growling stomach, or gritted teeth acknowledging that he understood Marimo's glare, Sanji returned to the counter and made another set of onigiri. Law on the sidelines squinted at the cook, the swordsman and the air of battle around them.

Put less succinctly, in one of the many parallel worlds that mirror one another in the upsettingly complicated universe there was a different book by Nelan Barrow. The shifted events that fall like dominos create a significantly divergent plot with some remaining core elements. Due to this differing but mirroring circumstances, Cale Henituse is offered the opportunity to regress rather than transmigrate. He just wasn't anticipating having a new brother upon doing so.
