"So, what's your deal?" the boy whispered, the familiar shadow of irritation coating his words. "Why the hat?"
"I don't have to tell you anything" Mono cut in smoothly.
"Well, you'll need to" his companion planted his feet firmly on the floor and crossed his arms. "If you want me to come with you, to trust you, you can't keep acting so suspicious"
...Suspicious, huh? Funny he should say that.
"It's not my problem if you decide to follow me or not, but it seems to me" he began, smiling crookedly. "That you don't have a choice"
