Alright. Maybe his idiot friends had a point, Katsuki thinks as he shoulders open the front door. His mother’s in the living room drinking coffee. Katsuki kicks off his shoes and stomps over. “Am I charming?” he demands, blocking the TV.
Mitsuki pats his cheek. “Oh, hon. Not at all.”
He goes upstairs. The bed makes a pomf noise as he faceplants into it. He needs a date for the sake of his pride, but there has to be a guarantee he won’t get rejected. Gossip travels and he’s not inconspicuous. He can already see the future headlines. Exposé : Bakusatsuo, failure at prom.
He sighs and rolls over. “Fine,” he says to the All Might poster next to his bed. “I’m not showing up to that dance alone. We’ll go with plan B.”

Yes.YEs.YES.This is amazing, amazing writing, everything amazing. Literally cried. Everything's so good - this easily deserves to be in the top 10 mha fics on this site. You're all just cowards who can't stand reading POVs that are different from the main casts'! (I'll throw out every accusation and slander I can find to justify the lack of support on this fic. C'mon, only like 3000 kudos? Clearly, something's wrong with the general public's perception!)
No, seriously, this is crazy good and literally that sparkle of "something else" that I've been CRAVING to read. It's a breath of fresh air and I honestly love the progression of this story. And afterwards you're like: "Did I just read a book?" because it has that published book FEEL, you know? So, if you're someone like me who looks into bookmarks to find out whether it's worth it to start reading: Yes, absolutely. 10/10. I read through it in, like, not even a day. I read a majority of it in one single sitting. I didn't even notice the length, since this doesn't have parts that feel like they don't belong or are boring in the slightest. I mean, I've read stories before where I've just jumped through paragraphs since I liked the concept but didn't feel like reading all of that just to come to a conclusion that's already clearly enunciated five paragraphs below. Didn't have that even ONCE here.
Just amazing. Yes, read it.

Summary
Heroes are kind. Heroes save people. Heroes want to help people no matter what. Heroes are like All Might, smiling regardless of how a tough a fight is. Heroes, Izuku has learned, can also not be heroes at all.
One article about a bad hero turns into four articles, then ten, then twenty and soon the whole country is reading about licensed villains playing at savior. Izuku writes them haphazardly, picking heroes whose wrong doings are masked by their fame. That is, until he meets Endeavor.In other words; the one where Izuku sees the fault in the hero system, makes it his mission to fix it with the help of one burnt fire-user vigilante, and eventually finds himself deeper in this mess than he originally planned.

I really love the choice of bonds depicted in here. Instead of having a Vigilante fic focused on Aizawa and Izuku, it's Dabi and Izuku in this one. Also, I love that Izuku (eventually, after a small amount of time) acknowledges his own achievements instead of constantly falling into self-deprecation. Aaaaand, the thing that makes this one extremely special in my eyes is that Izuku isn't (usually) the type of vigilante who jumps into fights, instead chosing to be more of a whistle-blower/journalist. I've rarely seen it executed this well but the authors manages to bring it across extremely well that, while Izuku's strength doesn't lie in fighting, he's not lesser for it.
Another plus point (for me) is that the romantic relationships are kept incredibly gen up until now and aren't really focused on that much, aside from indicators that show the gradual changes from friendship to romance. It's believable and Izuku is self-aware, which is a HUGE RELIEF. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF INCREDIBLY CLUELESS IZUKU.
So, yes, very good 10/10, there are spelling mistakes that mildly hinder the reading flow but they aren't grave and you can easily decipher what the authors meant to write.

She was a little concerned it was so easy, actually. Something she’d have to bring up with Iruka-sensei in the future- far in the future. Hopefully after she made jounin and he couldn't give her a detention for it.
OR, Sakura is too curious for her own good, which leads to unfortunate revelations about her intended role on Team 7. This, of course, has far-reaching consequences.
