Summary
Emma swan never much cared for fate, but Regina never had much of a choice in hers-
Emma has bounced around more than she'd like throughout her life, and now all she wants is a life of domesticity and reliable normalcy. When an accident causes her to once again bounce back to a realm of magic, Emma takes it upon herself to use the opportunity offered to her to fund her dreams of a normal life; after a job offered by the Queen- she's going back home where everything makes sense.
Regina's been suffering under the weight of a crown much too heavy for her head for the past decade; everything in her life has oddly gone even more downhill since her mother had been exiled, allowing her to rule alone. Her subjects hold no respect for her, and other rulers are vying for her kingdom; but with the falling of a star, and the fortuitous arrival of a companion of great magic, the proper circumstance's are aligning- allowing her to end her Mother, and the threat once and for all.
Snow whites fallen back to earth after having been absent for over twenty years. the world has changed, in the best of ways. but the stars are singing of the encroaching darkness, and she hasn't much time.

Emma and Regina are 'Powered' individuals kept as subjects and patients inside the Baelfire Research Institute, where their powers are studied and refined. Emma's just arrived, but Regina has been an outpatient for her entire life. Following the first three years of Emma's life in the Institute, documenting the growing relationship between Emma and Regina during their time together in the facility.

“And smart?”
“Mhmm.”
“And nice?”
“Kid, if this is your way of interrogating me for your mom’s friendship, then yes. I think she's super pretty, super smart, and super nice. Sometimes,” Emma adds as an afterthought. Because Regina can still be a Super Bitch. “She’s also a total MILF, so there's that.”
Henry wrinkles his nose. “What's a MILF?”

Summary
Another curse. Of course it is, and this one’s wiped Emma Swan’s memories clean. Now she’s stuck living a life she has no recollection of choosing, isn’t sure why she chose it, and every time she closes her eyes she experiences one unexplainable dream after the next. As if that wasn’t enough, the mayor insists on antagonizing her at every turn, even if Emma has no idea why she hates her so fiercely (aside from that one tiny incident where she accused her of attempted murder), but to be fair, Regina’s threats were completely unwarranted. So there’s that.
But maybe...just maybe, this curse is exactly what Emma needs.
