Summary
It was just Dream and Sapnap when the apocalypse began, when the entire country flipped upside down and they were thrown into a life of killing and surviving. Dream would do anything for his best friend, his brother. He wasn't about to let some random, somewhat attractive guy on the brink of death risk their chances of survival. And he certainly wasn't going to befriend him.

"Can I.. help you?" George calls back nervously, watching as the two shadowy figures start walking towards him.
"Yeah, you can help us by giving us everything you have on you!" The other, slightly taller man calls out.
"Um.. I'm sorry, but I don't have much on me, I left most of my things at home.." George was becoming nervous, and Clay could tell, the little LED on the right temple turned yellow as he watched the two men gradually getting closer. The android put an arm around George's shoulders protectively, pulling him a little closer to himself.
Clay would have spoken up to say something, make a comment about how they should buzz off, but he was cut off by the men suddenly advancing towards himself and George faster. Before he could even process what was happening, George was torn from his arms and he was commanded to stay put and not do anything while the men dragged George back into the alleyway, forcing him to sit still and do nothing while they harassed him.
While they harassed his human.

Sapnap was eight years old when he began his training to become the Royal Guard for Prince George of Kinoko Kingdom. Ten when he first had to lie to his prince. Fourteen when he saved his prince’s life for the first time. He was nineteen when he learned his prince was set to be married.
Sapnap was twenty when he lied to Prince Dream of the Essempi for the first time. Twenty when he saved Prince Dream’s life for the first time. He was twenty when Prince Dream began courting his prince.
Sapnap was five when he became a liar. Seven when he realized how important it was for him to control his fiery outbursts. Eighteen when he almost revealed who he was to his prince.
Sapnap was twenty-one when they found out anyway.
