Tommy let out a long sigh, mulling over Wilbur’s words.
“Okay. I’ll trust you.”
____Schlatt looked offended, "He's not just an old coworker, Toby, he's -"
Tubbo cut him off. "Tubbo. It's Tubbo."
Schlatt sighed. "Tubbo." He amended.
Schlatt looked defeated. Really, that's what it was, Tubbo thought. Defeat and not hurt. Not remorse. In Tubbo's opinion, his dad had died the day he won office.

“One moment.” The Angel holds up a finger, popping the door open and looking towards the back of Tommy’s car. He cups a hand to his face. “Boys, get in this fucking car or I’m leaving you behind!”
Tommy twists in his seat, head snapping back to look out his back window and watches as three more men (holy shit, is that the Blade?) come darting towards his car.

Summary
The day the world ended, Tommy and Tubbo’s parents took them to a safe place. A vault that would protect them from the nuclear destruction of the planet.
After two hundred years they’re suddenly freed from their underground prison, but the world they knew is gone, replaced by a shambling shadow of itself. They'll have to learn how to fight if they want to live. But there's more to living than surviving, at least, that's what Wilbur keeps telling them.

He resisted the urge to fall onto his back and become one with the dirty leaves. “To be honest, kids, you’re better off leaving me here.”
“But you’d die,” Tallulah pointed out, sounding about as nonchalant about death as you’d expect.
“Yup,” he agreed. “I had a good run.”
He did lie down then, folding his hands over his stomach and closing his eyes. For now, and in front of the children, he could pretend that his death would be a nice one.
Or: Tubbo tries to die. Two persistent children do their best to keep him alive.
