"Why are you doing this?" Ivan’s voice sounded muffled and slightly hoarse. Not using it often was taking its toll.
"Peeling apples?"
Ivan’s brow furrowed in clear frustration. "All of this!" His outburst seemed to startle even himself, judging by his expression.
Till pondered the question for a moment. "Sympathy?"
Ivan’s face darkened. "Of course. It makes sense my personal hell would involve being forced to look at a fake version of him," he muttered bitterly.
Or Till meets a stranger in the most peculiar way possible, nearly dragged ashore by the sea itself. And it’s only later that he learns what it means to love someone who slips through his fingers like grains of sand.

Summary
Ivan walked through school like always—calm, charming, basically un-noticeable. His two best friends—well 1, Mizi and Sua walked with him. Mizi talked a lot, and Sua was calm. Mizi and Sua were dating, Ivan felt like an outcast.
Ivan wasn’t paying attention, though. Mizi’s chatting was just background noise by now.
Then someone brushed past him.
It wasn’t anything big, just a quick bump, but it made Ivan stop. He turned his head and saw a boy walking away. He had cool grey-teal hair and a face that looked both sharp and soft.
Ivan froze, His heart suddenly started beating fast, and he felt weird—like warm and nervous all at once. He didn’t even know his name, but something about him just felt special.
Mizi and Sua noticed Ivan wasn’t walking anymore and looked back at him. Mizi followed his gaze, then pointed.
“Hey, isn’t that guy from the music club? I think his name is Till, he plays guitar really well!”
“Till...” Ivan whispered, like he was trying out the name.
Mizi raised her eyebrows and smirked. “Whoa. Did someone finally make you stop in your tracks? That never happens.”
Sua giggled, and Ivan just stood there.
Was this what falling in love felt like?☆

"Don't see why," says Jamie, looking mulish about it. He's got his stupid ICON cap on backwards, a pink tie-dye sweatshirt on over what Isaac's pretty sure's a pair of denim overalls. "I got good ideas, sometimes."
"Aye!" says Dani. "Like the time you told me we should tie our shoelaces together to practice running up and down the pitch. That was a good idea, until we faceplanted and had to get stitches."
The lads murmur in agreement. Jamie says, "Yeah, it were the stitches that got us, weren't it," as though that was the problem with that particular idea.
