    One day, while sending boons to Zagreus, Dionysus’ heart gives out and he perishes, dreaming of Zagreus finding a miraculous green garden by the sea. But it’s cool, he’s immortal and it’s not like his heart was fully functional before it randomly gave out. Nothing to worry about, no need to concern his family about it at all.

    But then it happened again. And again. And again…

    Maybe there was more to Orpheus' song than Dionysus had given it credit for.

    “This,” Artemis began, gesturing Nico up and down. “Is a boy, uncle.”

    Hades nodded, looking incredibly out of place as a mass of darkness in the otherwise serene meadow. “He is,” he agreed and then paused, looking at Nico with a sudden suspicion. “Right-?”

    “Yes,” Nico interrupted flatly. “Still a boy. Just gay.”

    “I was not conflating such things,” Hades muttered. Artemis raised a skeptical brow. “I merely thought I would ask.”

    From behind Artemis, Percy gave a satisfied nod as he nudged Thalia. “Nice. We got a woke uncle.” He raised his fist only for Hades to stare. “Alrighty.” He pointed a thumb behind him. “I guess I’ll go-?”

    “You better not leave me here,” Nico hissed.

    “Bye, Nico!”

    “Percy!” he began, a note of worrying desperation leeching into his tone. This was ridiculous. It wasn’t really happening, right? Right? “Tell Will that I’m being kidnapped!”

    Thalia waved. “No,” she said, following after Percy.

    Nico had never liked her.

    Or

    Apparently, Nico is what other campers are calling ‘a hot mess’ and ‘severely traumatized’ which has somehow led to his father relegating him to the Hunt. Worry not, it makes no sense to Artemis either.

    After his confrontation with Max Mercury and Impulse in the speed force, Inertia disappeared into the lightning winds, and did not return.
    CRAYDL, after too long deliberating, finally activates the failsafes; created in case of the first Inertia's death.
    Because Project Inertia would always, inevitably, continue.
    But Thaddeus Thawne the Second is very much alive. And he can't help continuing just the same.
