He glimpses a bleeding uchiwa symbol and a blur of black hair inside a village gate, and fitfully stirs from sleep when weapons clash under a hazy sky. War plagues him every waking moment; Touya has to rub his eyes when Fuyumi toddles around the kitchen floor, because all he can see is blood slathering her every limb, her body falling, gray and ashen—Touya knows that he is not who he should be.
Or: Uchiha Sasuke reincarnates into Todoroki Touya. Chaos ensues.

It's a few days before the second Extermination and Alastor's feeling ready.
A little weird, but ready,
A little warm, but, you know, ready.
Until he discovers that his heat is coming two weeks early, which really puts a wrench in his plans. But, no, everything is fine. Really, it's FINE. All he needs to do is make it through one fight and he's free to handle this stupid, pesky heat. No problem. Adam shouldn't be too hard to handle, he's only one guy.
Everything's going to work out, Alastor's sure of it.

When Adam injures Alastor during their fight, it triggers Alastor's heat and, well, everything kind of goes to shit after that.

“SASUKE!”
He jolts out of his stupor and stares at the man before him. Cerulean eyes stare back, concerned.
“Sasuke. Look at me.”
But he is.
“No, Sasuke. You are not looking at me. You are looking past me, at someone else — Look at me. “
Naruto’s cerulean eyes pin him in place and this time Sasuke can not escape.
Suddenly, as if a veil has lifted, he finally understands. Those are not the eyes of a man who's become resigned, who's been hurt and betrayed over and over again.
He is staring at the eyes of a man who retained his light and one who boldly plows forward, for he has everything he ever wanted right in front of him.
And that everything… is Sasuke.
