When Eren came out from the bathroomglared at his sister. «Don't say a word other than Caribbean».
Isabel simply nodded a bit to enthusiastic and clasped her hand «You're perfect, the Caribbean will be waiting for you, but now–». He felt himself being grabbed and dragged towards the full body length mirror.
Even if reluctantly he had to admit they were the spitting image of each others. He couldn't even fully appreciate his reflection that his sister dragged him once again. «Oh do as you please sis» Was his sarcastically remark when manhandled once–again. «And now Make–up lesson!»
What had he agreed to participate in?
«Is–» He tried to beg her but she had already grabbed brushes, make-up and only God knows what else. He swallowed as terror made its way into him.
It was going to be a very long week! -

They were sharing a joyous moment with the last acquired member of their family, an horsey–like topiary tree from the garden centre recommended to them by a colleague for “celebrating that important moment”.
«Come on, let's go back inside» She tried in vain to urge her son inside, ever since they had put the roots of the young tree in the ground he had yet to move away from his new friend, she had brought it home without thinking about it too much, happy for the thought and unaware that her son could have been magnetically drawn to it. It was just a tree after all – or maybe not?

The days are all the same, dark, damp, the routine repeat itself all over again: wake up, fight, feed, sleep and repeat.
They have the feeling they always have been fighter, today as yesterday — a yesterday he cannot figure out, but they know has happened — they endure fighting to dispel the weight of loneliness: they know that if they don't continue to react they would end giving up the search for this something that could free them from the darkness of their existence.Then everything changes and they find themself face to face with the subject of their search. He couldn't be more out of reach.

Sente di essere allo stremo, la corazza dura inizia a cedere, i troppi scontri l'hanno segnato in maniera indelebile, innumerevoli cicatrici serpeggiano sul suo corpo che sente indebolirsi giorno dopo giorno, la vista è parziale e gli permette di distinguere solo alcune ombre nel buio che lo circonda.
Una vita spesa a cercare e poi quando si ritrova l'oggetto della sua ricerca di fronte, si rende conto che non potrebbe essere più irraggiungibile.
Però non si è mai dato per vinto e non succederà nemmeno questa volta.

“Why does it look like that?”
Eren blinked a few times, his eyebrows raising as he glanced between the kitten that sat on his exam table and the man standing before him. The kitten let out a mew and stood, circling in front of Eren a few times. The creature sat back down before peering in Eren’s direction with its cloudy eyes, as if asking for affection from the taller male.
“It’s a sphinx,” the brunette started, reaching down to run a hand across the cat's skin. It arched its back into his touch and let out a rumble of a purr. “Have you never seen one?”
Levi Ackerman is an English Professor at Shiganshina University who gets his life flipped upside down when he finds a malnourished kitten while on his smoke break. He had no plans of keeping the creature until he’s face to face with a handsome vet that has him rethinking his decision.
Eren Jaeger is a veterinarian at a low-cost clinic conveniently within walking distance of the University, after a rather harsh breakup he is convinced he is better alone for now, guarding himself from more pain. Enter a clueless English professor and the cutest kitten he’s ever seen, both tearing down the walls he’s carefully building.
