Gods, his eyes. Black. Seeping all the light from the room, condensing everything into those little light flecks in his eyes. The darkness underneath, that little mole in the corner of his right eye like a beauty mark. The subtle freckles that dotted along his cheeks and nose, hidden behind that glowing pink that was—thank every deity—so easy to bring out of him.
And then. Of course. His lips. Pretty and pink, slightly chapped because he was always misplacing his chapstick. How he breathed, long hefty sighs when Leo said something stupid, or…or those short, needy breaths between kisses.
Leo had been warned about Underworld spawn plenty of times. They were as powerful—if not more—than Aphrodite kids when it came to enticing a target. Rumors spun about, claiming that one kiss from an Underworld spawn would cause you to eternally yearn for their soul.
Leo hadn’t needed a kiss to yearn, though it certainly did help.
