After the PLW, the League was captured and its members await prosecution. Still, many heroes sustained severe injuries, including Hawks after his fight with Dabi.
Keigo is faced with a painful recovery and severe loss of image. He's punished for his failures at the raid and immediately forced back into training to restore his status and get back into the Commission's good graces. However, he can't seem to shake the fight. He can't forget that face. Those flames. The fear.
Dabi desires vengeance for Hawks' betrayal. After escaping imprisonment, he devises a plan with Shigaraki to take down the HPSC by using Hawks. But when he discovers more about the hero's past, he realises that he and Hawks aren't so different after all. And once he does, can he still use him the way he'd planned?

Summary
Ghost didn’t know when he got it into his head that Johnny was his.
It might have been in Las Almas or Chicago. Maybe it was on the morning runs they shared, never verbally planned, but each of them falling into step as the sun made its gloomy appearance over the horizon. Maybe it was the number of times Soap had put on the kettle when they returned, and while he sat in the little dilapidated rec room and waited for Soap to make coffee, the Scot puttered about and made him a strong cup of Earl Grey as well (and just the way he liked it, too). Maybe it was on other missions, banter flying as fast as bullets, Soap’s accent lilting in his ear over comms.
Maybe it was their thighs pressed flush together during debriefs, or the long looks his sergeant sometimes gave him, when he thought Ghost wasn’t looking.
Maybe, maybe, there were too many instances of closeness for Ghost to count- though he’d tried. He’d tried almost desperately to pinpoint the precise moment he’d looked at Soap and thought mine, an all-consuming lance of possessiveness better suited for two people who were actually in a relationship washing over him.
Or; Ghost finds that he's fallen in love with Johnny. What a predicament.

Summary
Dabi, badly wounded and separated from the League, takes a risk. With few other options, he takes advantage of a certain little bird's eagerness to join the villainous organization and claims refuge at Hawks' penthouse.
Hawks, torn between turning Dabi in and the assignment given to him by the Commission, makes the decision to let Dabi stay until he's healed for the sake of his mission and the possibility of finally gaining an in with the League.
As the threats and sarcasm start to fade away within the sanctuary of the penthouse, both Dabi and Hawks begin to realize how much more there is to each other than just "villain" and "hero." And neither is prepared for the choices they have to make when their refuge and the fragile warmth growing between them is threatened.

Summary
Any good story is made up of more than mere sentences. If all it came down to was words printed on a page somewhere, every story would die sooner or later. In their meat-grinder of a world, paper was a privilege and a death sentence for a story.
Thus, they inscribed the best of their stories into each other instead - so that they could be passed from skin to skin, sign to sign, sigh to sigh. Until the story became more than a story, and became history instead.
As everybody knew, though - history was only written by the idiots that made it. So they would just have to make it long enough to see what their story became.

Summary
Ghost watched the vehicle until it disappeared from sight, feeling guilty and responsible for what had happened. He’d made the wrong decision again, and someone he loved might die. His jaw clenched, angry and frustrated at always being wrong, at never being able to do things right. And, for the first time in months, he wondered again what the point of living was if all he experienced was pain, if his only purpose was to watch the people important to him suffer.
Mostly narrated from Ghost's point of view, this fanfic is centered on how he gradually accepts that he can have beautiful things in life, be loved, and that not all the good things in his life will be taken out of his hands. That not everything is suffering.
Makarov is not the main villain here ;)

Oh, how he wishes he could have chosen.
In a world where you're either overlooked or exploited for your quirk, Hawks would love nothing more than to be invisible. To disappear from the fame, from the eyes, from the responsibilities that he never asked for when his parents gave him away to the Commission, from the pain.
Though pain makes itself known eventually, whether you invite it to or not.
But really, sitting on the floor of the League of Villains, thinking like a child just to cope, was not how Hawks envisioned the pain showing up.

A lil fic of mine about how the Commission really treated its best "heroes" and the coping mechanisms, good or bad, that one particular hero derived from it. Add in some projection, a bit of fluff between the hurt, and, suddenly, it's a fic.

Summary
An alternate first meeting, where Ghost and Soap meet each other in the field under infinitely worse circumstances than either of them would have liked:
Ghost wakes up in a pit under a building with a bomb attached to him, certain he's going to die. Soap, an EOD tech amongst his other specialties, is the only person available to at least try to save him. It should be fraught, and tense, and miserable all around, and it is; a whole lot of Ghost slowly losing his mind while Soap does everything he can to save his life. But it would probably be easier if Ghost wasn't a stress-flirter, and if Soap wasn't the kind of endlessly competent that he loved, and if, by virtue of their situation, they didn't keep ripping open each other's wounds and then patching each other back up again after.
