Summary
Loving something and enjoying it all the time, however, were two separate things. Which is exactly why Hob had never told Dream in more detail about why he was ill that day.
Hob has chronic illness and pain and hides it from Dream. Turns out, living for over 600 years doesn't come without some difficulties. Dream finds out, panics and summons his sister to demand her to fix his lover's illnesses.
This carries on loosely from my previous Dreamling fic, but they can also be both read as standalones.

Summary
Hob Gadling was by default, a relatively forgetful man. Not so much in long-term memory, but when it came to short-term stuff like dates or events – he was hopeless. He’d never found himself forgetting a date with his stranger, however, not until today.
Hob accidentally double-books himself and ends up taking Dream to campus with him.
