    Tim was only a hero for a short time, and that short time was longer than he had wanted it to be. Gotham needs a protector, and Batman was pushing away anyone offering help, so Tim had to take away that choice. Two months of hero work is all he does, and he ends knowing that the Bats hate him, since he somehow messed up so much that Bruce broke his own rule of "No metas in Gotham" to try to get Tim caught. It was pure luck that let Tim escape the new hero going by "Superboy" on Tim's final day in a cape.
    Its been years since then, and Tim had quit doing night activities cold turkey, but was still able to keep track of which Bat joining the family was which civilian, and to avoid said civilians at all cost. Day crime in Gotham has escalated so much that the Day Patrol is Signal, Supergirl and Superboy. Officially allowing Metas in!
    The empty house next to the Drakes was just bought by Kara Danvers for her and her nephew, Conner, to live in.
    In Tim's eyes, Conner is terrifying, and seems to have Tim as his target for whatever his plans are.
    In Conner's eyes, Tim is his first and best friend at his new school, his first civilian friend, and kinda cute.
