It wasn't that he set out thinking he was any more special than the next person, he just thought that maybe this was the *one* thing he could have control over—himself and his relationships.
Zanka was a well adjusted and upstanding guy, he was known for his astute senses and being a reliable giver in the eyes of Enjin. He was an alpha, but that didn't mean he was prone to flying off the handle, nope.
Of course, that was before he met the little asshole that Enjin took in, and to make matters worse? There was a raider with a tantilizi- putrid, he was going to say putrid! scent running around causing havoc on his instincts. Now Zanka didn't know what to think anymore but one thing was for sure.
He isn't going to let his alpha win.

Hearing his words, an idea popped into Furina’s head. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
“Bitter tea leaves no sweet aftertaste?” she repeated, clutching the macaron she tasted.
“Correct,” the Wanderer said decidedly. “It neither changes nor pretends to be something it’s not, which is why I enjoy it—”
Without warning, Furina shoved the macaron into his mouth.
Wanderer joins Furina for a tea party. He hates sweets, but his teeth will be rotting anyway.

“It's a language for you.. satisfies the need that you don’t know how else to find comfort in. It’s a lifestyle.” Tamsy’s fingers lingered along the curve of Zodyl’s teeth, tracing each sharp ridge with indolence, feeling the subtle ridges and the faint warmth behind the enamel. After a moment, he pressed the pad of his thumb lightly against the tip of Zodyl’s tongue, holding it just so. It started with a gentle caress, Zodyl’s eyes seeming to prickle at the corners as he stared up at Tamsy through his lashes, head tilting down.

Before he knew it, he yearned for the unleashed force of Zanka -- the brutality he was flashed with when his teeth latched onto Mankira, like a kiss straight to Jabber’s soul, threatening to ruin all he had. Even now, it sent tingles down his spine despite the outcome of that fight. The kiss had no tongue, no lip. Just violence, with vengeful blue eyes locked onto his face.
He’d drool if he was able to open his mouth without retching. In fact, the only reason why Zanka was on his mind right now was because he was similarly sprawled out less than 5 feet away from Jabber.
