Chuckling, Sapnap shook his head. “You want me to be your fake boyfriend so your family believes you?” He recited, laughing at his idiot of a friend.
Dream needs a date, who better to ask than his own best friend? Sapnap.

Summary
“Sapnap. Is it about the prom?” Dream asks, a more serious demeanour suddenly taking over him.
Sapnap’s body language mimics his, stiffening up, “Just forget about it, okay?” he takes a step backward before continuing, “Nothing’s wrong. I swear.”
Dream lifts himself off the wall, looking agitated. He grabs Sapnap’s wrist to try and stop him from leaving. His grip is tight, almost possessive. Like it means something.
“Stop lying to me!” he exclaims, bringing everyone’s attention to them.
Sapnap feels his cheeks heat up in embarrassment. He stares down at his feet. His laces are untied.
He exhales, “I’ve been lying to you for a long time, Dream.”
or, Dream promises to take Sapnap to prom, but doesn't follow through.

Summary
The following story is an adaptation of the scripts of 4 streams intended for production on the Dream SMP. Due to all 4 scripts being written before Ranboo’s death it is best to take this story as being in it’s own timeline that is respective of the character of Wilbur Soot. The actors have signed off that the actions taken by the characters in this story are accurate and representative. Sapnap’s shoulder’s drop. His face falls from joy and care and admiration into hurt and pain and confusion. “We don’t have to play,” he says as a question.
His voice is so quiet and Dream hates himself for thinking that the man somehow looks adorable even when lost. Pastel pink is still painted across his face and Dream wishes he’d been the one holding the brush and applying the strokes with love. He wishes his hand had caressed the canvas and put so many emotions into his art that the painting of Sapnap couldn’t be deemed anything but striking. He wishes it wasn’t the flush of alcohol, but rather the rise of nervous blushing from feeling loved.”

Dream and Sapnap live together in college. Dream has been in love with the other for months but can’t do anything about it, nor does he want to, because Sapnap is constantly bringing new girls into the apartment nearly every night. One night, they get drunk and some questions are asked that change everything.

Against his right ear, there is a light breathing. Inhales calm and exhales collected. Dream tilts his head to the left once he feels a slightly heavier object on his right shoulder, allowing it to stay there as long as it wants to.
“Clay.” It is Sapnap speaking, voice hoarse yet clear against his ears. With Dream’s name, he sings a lullaby, removing all of Dream’s planned progress and then bathes himself in serenity.
“Nick,” Dream replies, his voice choking through the neck stung by energy drinks. Though, still continuing to move carefully, closer.
Sapnap drags a tired Dream to bed.

Karl’s eyes bulge. He points. “You have a wedding ring on?”

His eyebrows knit together. “No, I don’t. What are you talking about?”
Warm fingers envelop Karl's left hand, still shaking from its in suspension in the air. The man’s rough thumb smoothes across his fourth finger, and he feels faint when there’s a tug on a ring. One glance confirms it. A matching band sits prettily above Karl's knuckle, in the same shade of gold as his companion’s.
“Dear heavens,” Karl exhales. “Oh god.”

Karl wakes up married to a stranger. Getting a divorce would be easier if he wasn't so attractive.

"Dream?" Karl questioned.
Dream just placed a finger in front of his lips signaling for Karl to keep quiet and stay still. Karl doesn't even know how it happened. One second Dream's body was pressed against the door, and the next Karl could hear the door locks click open. A little nudge from Dream's head told Karl that he should probably get into the passenger side seat.
"You know how to hotwire a car?" Karl asked. "How- where- why do you know how to hotwire a car?"
"Doesn't everyone?" Dream asked jokingly as the car started revving up.
"No?" Karl exclaimed. "Why would an accountant ever need to know how to hotwire a car?"
"Well," Dream mumbled as he started driving away as slowly and discretely as possible, trying to leave undetected from the flashing police cars heading their way. "In case you still couldn't tell, I'm not an accountant."
Karl knows his boyfriend is hiding something. From the mysterious phone calls, the fact that he never tells Karl who was calling, that he doesn't let Karl look at his phone, that his phone keeps buzzing during their anniversary dinner- Dream's definitely cheating on him. Yeah. Definitely.
