Summary
He’s spent his whole life in the wheat fields of Aedes Elysiae. There are rivers and lakes, mountains and forests, and beneath the sun, the land turns to gold like alchemy.
His parents are as healthy as ever, and the village is prospering in trade. There is nothing more that he could ask for in this idyllic world where all of his loved ones are happy.
But sometimes, when night falls, he looks up at the twinkling cosmos and thinks that something’s missing. Nights like these, Phainon lies down, pillowed by wheat, pinned to the earth under the weight of the vast sky, watching the stars slowly and imperceptibly change, above him and without him.

Summary
Stelle looked around, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Lygus must have changed not only the setting but also the timeline. Years had passed since the first memories he showed her. But if that was the case, it was a scenario that shouldn’t have happened in reality. Aedes Elysiae had been destroyed long ago, according to what Phainon had told her. And yet, here they were, all three of them at the age they had — or should have had, in Cyrene’s case — in the real world.
So, given her current predicament, what kind of new fanfiction had Lygus thrown her into?
As Stelle is musing about Lygus' "interactive theater" moral implications, he gets the idea to tweak things a little, and let her experience something different. This is how she gets thrown into a possible scenario made from Phainon's wishes: one peaceful day in a world where there is no need for a Deliverer.

It’s the last day before the next cycle begins. The last day before Phainon takes off the mantle of Deliverer. The last day before Stelle steps into the role of Deliverer for Amphoreus. One last day before the cogs of fate begin to turn another way.
Despite this, they are still humans—despite being a vessel for a Stellaron and being a mere variable in a twisted experiment. Joy, sadness, and anger are mere portions of the human experience. Resilience, stubbornness, and vulnerability are such parts too. And so is yearning and hope.
Being characters for some experiment or story won’t prevent them from experiencing the full spectrum of the human experience—no matter how short their time together is.
