Lance McClain, Blue Paladin and Red Lion Pilot, has survived many trials out in space: Strenuous battles, relentless pining over Keith Kogane, being shot in truly embarrassing places ... but when he ends up on a solo mission it may prove to be his hardest challenge yet. Especially since he's stuck on a planet that doesn't even like Voltron. But it can't be any harder than trying to reconnect with Keith (who's been extra closed off since his returned from the Quantum Abyss), can it?

"Can you tell me that story again?" Keith asked, his voice strained, muffled.
Lance leaned his head against the cold metal wall and closed his eyes, trying to form a reassuring picture of Keith in his head, one where he wasn't hurt and bleeding just out of Lance's reach.
"The one about Earth?"
"The one about your friends."
"Our friends, Keith."
A pause.
"Our friends," Keith agreed, hesitant.
"They're coming for us. I know they are. And when they do, we'll figure this out, okay? I know you don't remember, but they really care about you. We all do. No one's gonna leave you here."
Silence, dragging on long enough that Lance's reassuring images quickly took a nauseating turn, his heartrate spiking with anxiety.
"Keith?" he said, unable to keep his voice from shaking ever-so-slightly with his growing unease. "Still with me buddy?"
Several unbearable ticks of quiet, then at last, Keith's voice, weaker, but undeniably present.
"'m here," he rasped, and Lance breathed out a sigh of relief.

Regardless of what you may think, Keith Kogane never wanted to die alone. No, no, that’s never been the case. Even though he knew that as a defender of the universe the scenario was pretty likely, that didn’t mean that’s how he wanted it to end. Despite wanting to pass with company, Keith sacrificed himself, and, as usual, put his co-paladin’s needs before his as he charged at the Galran soldier.

Summary
Tim Drake died and woke up possessing the body of an alternate version of himself who also just had died.
The new reality he found himself in, appeared to be a parallel Earth with a future as close as any other alternative Earth, until the point where Tim never became Robin, or even more than just neighbours with the Waynes, instead becoming the most stereotypical affluent, obnoxious, nuisance he could be.
Having a reputation that might as well make him the metaphorical love child of Brucie Wayne and Lex Luthor, Timothy Drake seemed to embody all that was wrong with the rich. This made finding a way home a tad more difficult than he had originally anticipated. That is, if there even was a way home to be found.
* Yellow_sprouts' fic 'The Drakes Spoiled Brat. (im sorry dad)' inspired this one. I obtained their permission to write this, and I encourage everyone who reads it to read their fantastic fic!

He rolls with the punches, so to speak; he's dealt with hurt, betrayal, and abandonment.
The whole nine yards. Sure, he has his moments, but overall, he reacts pretty rationally to things.But watching his baby brother begging his Baba not to hurt him while Bruce insists he needs to "learn a lesson" via a forceful dose of a fear toxin mask?
Well, the bats didnt kill- but that rule didnt apply to Batman himself right??
Because, by god, Tim had never been closer to tearing someone's throat out with his bare teeth.(TLDR: Tim sneaks into the cave, watches an incident and goes ape shit against Batman himself to protect his baby brother- hurt/comfort ensues with Batfam)
