a murmur, “feel better, beomgyu hyung.” the gentle hands are tucking him in, and had he not been disoriented by the heat in his cheeks and the cotton in his head, he would have been overwhelmed by how loved he feels. he thinks of his mother back at home in daegu, and vows to visit home more often. and then the hands that feel like home are gone.

Taehyun had always found Beomgyu beautiful, ever since they were younger. But Beomgyu had always been his neighbor, his acquaintance, someone untouchable. He had dinner with his family and awkwardly did the dishes with the other boy as the adults laughed in the adjacent room. He had seen him from across the school hallways, doing nothing but being so wonderfully Beomgyu, someone he’d always found interesting and intriguing and…god, he was pretty.

Summary
