Blitzø sighs, eyes trailing down to that serene mimic of Fizz’s face. He could turn it on, tell the bot to act how he wants. Make it cry, make it hurt. It’d be all a play for him, though, and that’s not what he wants.
He hates this fucking thing. Hates how wrong it is, how far removed it is from its inspiration. This isn’t Fizzarolli, this isn’t anything. Blitzø hates it, and even more than that, he hates himself for staying with it. Hates that his dick is already half-hard again just from looking at this pile of scrap metal and fake flesh, hates that he wants nothing more than to stick himself back in and cry into its fucking chest.

Ozzie thrums with excitement over the idea. It’s a racy little restaurant, a popular sex club runs on the ground floor, and the floor above holds the restaurant. Each table is in its own room, with one large glass wall facing out to the club below, and a thick glass floor. Patrons are welcome to watch the festivities as they eat, and even more welcome to join them.
“You sure you’re down for it, baby? Might end up with lots on display.”
Fizz laughs off the idea. “Nothing they couldn’t find with a five-minute deep dive on Voogle anyways. No phones allowed in there either. We can give them a free show, and they’ve got nothing to prove it with. Don’t you wanna show me off?”

They sit on opposite sides. The soundproofing goes both ways, nothing coming in the closet doors aside from thin slivers of light from each slat, basking them in just enough to see. Jax grins at Pomni. “So… was that more cartoon logic at work? You tried to pick me?”
“Yeah, actually,” Pomni admits, unable to hold back a smile at the way Jax’s expression falters, not expecting her to admit it. “Seemed like a good place to talk.”
His shock seeps away into annoyance, rolling his eyes. “Boring. I’ve got nothing to talk about with you.”
“I think you do.”

Silence. Jax sighs, hands pressing to the door as he starts to push himself back to his feet, when it opens wide and he goes tumbling backwards with a yelp. He smacks the back of his head on the floor, hissing as he rolls a bit in pain before pausing when he realizes what’s just happened and looks up.
Ribbit is standing over him. The frog looks tired, a weary smile on his face as he watches Jax. “You’ll do anything, huh?” He lets out a little huff of laughter. “Sounding a little pathetic, is crybaby Jax back in town? Miss me that much?”

Going to an arcade might be a date when you're a teenager, and Blitzø and Fizz are far past that age now. Except, they can't help dancing around each other like they're still years younger and struggling with being in love for the first time.

“I would,” Nursey heard himself saying. Which he’d always thought was a dumb literary convention, but here he was, words coming out of his mouth without his useless fucking brain’s influence at all. “If you actually want me to, I would.”
