Katsuki skates toward him, gets close again. He grips Izuku’s chin and holds his head in place so he can continue gazing firmly into his eyes.
“It’s dark,” quiet, these words are. “Far darker than anything you’ve been given. Something burns in you, something the ice can soothe if you allow it. If you know how to let it soothe you.”
Katsuki’s thumb presses hard into Izuku’s chin as he tightens his grip and tugs Izuku closer by his face.
“I’m going to bring you to your full potential. And you will be the best.”
Alternatively: Two years after his sudden disappearance, Izuku's skating idol, Bakugou Katsuki, returns to the ice.

Dazai hated being autistic. He hated that no matter how hard he tried he would never be able to navigate the world with a neurotypical mind. That he would never be just like 'everyone else.'
Which was why he hid his neurodivergence from anyone he could and refused to have his diagnosis on his medical record. The cursed information to remain shackled away where only he could access it.
His mask held. Until he happened to be assigned a school project. One that required him to work in a pair with a boy he had never talked to in his life.
He just hoped that Chuuya was stupid enough to not notice he was different.

But then there was Chuuya, and he was something else entirely.
Kunikida loved him too, he was sure, but it wasn’t the same. It was different. Similar, but different nonetheless. He got felt fear when he went on dangerous missions and didn’t report back after, he wanted to kiss him the moment he got that new lip piercing, he wanted to keep him safe and protected despite everything he believed in and despite the fact he could very well take care of himself.
It was love.
But it just wasn’t the same. The way he felt about Dazai and the way he felt about Chuuya were different in a way he couldn’t quite explain. It was a subtle difference, but a real one.
