Donghyuck sticks his fingers in the holes of it and smiles, lips going from pressed to showing teeth in an expression that Chenle can’t discern. He puts the blanket over himself and hugs Chenle with it.
“This blanket’s seen it all”, he giggles, squeezing Chenle’s back and making him jump ticklish. “Thank you”.
It stays over his shoulders the whole night. Chenle thinks he could give him something of his everyday: his cups, his toothbrush, his ice cream tins, his basketball jerseys, because he can’t give him his heart and come out of it alive.
