It's been years since Izuku lost the last embers of One for All.
At least once a month, Katsuki Bakugou would be asked to make an appointment at I-Island and help with the practical training of the hero suit. After all, he was the one who faced One for All and trained alongside the quirk the most. He knew what the six other quirks and reaction times were like and how Izuku fought. That was the second and much nobler reason Katsuki convinced himself for moving to America.
When the late nights with no sleep and working overtime to fund the suit got tiring, Katsuki would slump against a wall. He’d knock his forehead into the brick and tell himself that Izuku deserves this. He deserves to be a hero the most out of everyone. No amount of unrequited feelings on Katsuki’s end would stop him from giving Izuku the quirk and dream he should’ve been granted from the beginning.
Still, he knows he's a shit friend, student, and son for disappearing without a word.

His spiky blond hair caught the light, glittering like embers, and his fierce scarlet eyes blazed with intensity. For a moment, Izuku couldn't help but stare—Bakugo looked breathtaking, almost surreal in the sun-drenched room. But something was wrong.

It's borderline humiliating how easy it is for Eijirou to snatch him up and carry him around like it's nothing, legs dangling uselessly (almost uselessly—Katsuki tries his damndest, but he can't escape) nearly a foot off the ground; because Ei was pushing seven feet and had at least fifty pounds on everyone else in the agency.
Kicking and punching were ineffective, because Ei would just activate his quirk. Trying to push his way out of Eijirou's arms was just as fruitless—Katsuki is tired and Ei is already stronger than him; bigger and stronger and taking full advantage of it. All this to say, as exhausted as Katsuki was, the only tool he had left in his arsenal was ol'reliable: yelling.
