However, Saburo insisted he stayed the night at his place in fear of demons roaming about. Apparently that was the right call as the demon king, Kibutsuji Muzan, paid a visit to the Kamado family. In that universe, Tanjiro was the sole survivor with his sister as a demon. That is not what happened in this universe.
    In this universe, Kie allowed Takeo to sell coal with Tanjiro, changing the course of history.
