Summary
Familiars, Constantine had told Jason once, were helpful spirits that usually took the form of animals. They gravitated towards magic that had good intentions and often aided them, hence the imagery and paintings of old magic users with various animals. Jason had never seen one before, but Constantine had told him that he'd know one when he saw one.
So, when a black cat with slight latent magic had indirectly helped him solve last week's missing person case by leading him to their dead body? Yeah. Jason already named her Elizabeth.

Summary
When Percy first entered Cabin Three, it was made clear that it hadn't been touched in what seemed like decades. A thin layer of dust coated the rocky floor, and the wall that dimly glowed like abalone had already begun to die down due to the abrasions. The beds were neat, but the cloth of the blankets was partially faded. It was evident that no one had been here for a long time.
Yet, traces of life could still be found in the way smiley faces were scratched on to one of the cabinets, the way that one of beds were unmade (its sheets hung on one side, as if someone had fallen off of it), and the way that tape marks were present on the door Chiron held open for him, scratched like someone tried to claw it off.
Desolate as it was now, someone had lived here.

Summary
There are two locations in Crime Alley that everyone knows are neutral territory: JT's Garage, and Flag's Bar situated two blocks over.
The Alley's run by a Ghost story who goes by that very name and lives up to every rumor told about him; whether this be the blood running down the streets of the Narrows during the gang war waged for the Alley or Ghost's merciless hits against those who defy his order. Even the kind smiles and open rooms without strings attached offered to the citizens of the Alley are true.
Its been this way for three years now. Ghost has taken over Mask's territory, ran Penguin out, and shut down Two Face's operations. He has worked long and hard enough to secure a foothold and establish a system under his Code.
And it works. It does.
Three years is also enough time that Spoiler and Signal, the two newest Bats, begin to get a little too curious about finding out who the elusive Ghost really is.
(Jason hadn't wanted to get involved with the Bats this time around. He wanted to clean up the Alley, work on cars with Santana, and maybe smoke some weed and drink some beer on the weekends when he wasn't out doing crime-lord shit. Fuck.)

i love it, i love it so much that i hate it. i hate it because there's no sequel. and i love it. Mechanic Jason was something I never knew I needed in my life. But now i do. Safe to say I'll be crying for the next 78 hours.
